Independent’s Day – 9th July 2011 – a chance to bring local shops and shoppers a little closer together.
For one day a year*, we’re asking Finchley residents to make a point of using the local shops in the area – to come and spend at least £10 that they would have usually spent elsewhere.
(*Update: Feedback from traders suggests that it may be worth making this a frequent event)

We’d like to encourage traders to make residents an offer to help make Independent’s Day work. It is completely free of charge to post an offer here – Finchlinks isn’t a commercial site and won’t contact you to sell you any advertising or anything else.
Here’s the deal:
On the 9th of July 2011, a trader will offer a special deal (a discount, a buy-two-get-one-free type offer, etc) to anyone who comes to their shop with a print-off of this page.
If you’re a local trader and want to make an offer to local residents on Independent’s Day, please complete this form at the bottom of this page. Once we’ve called you to confirm this, we’ll add it to this page where everyone can see it.
